Luxottica Group introduces the Ray-Ban Youth collection, consisting of nine ophthalmic frames. The line is designed for children between the ages of eight and 12 who want to look as cool as the big kids and for parents who want quality eyewear for their children. Styles are smaller versions of the popular adult designs—ranging from semi-rimless to full frames in rectangular and oval designs, some angular and some softened. Frames are constructed of lightweight, hypo-allergenic titanium and equipped with durable flex hinges. Colors include brown, black, navy, silver and gunmetal. The collection also contains one zyl/titanium combination, a softened rectangle available in bolder colors such as periwinkle/lime, brown/azure and metallic pink.
