The fashion designers that have truly impacted eyewear branding are a special breed apart. It can be a challenge. The brand needs to stay loyal to the brand image, the eyewear image, the changing vagaries of fashion and style, AND fashion and style in eyewear. These photographs from the ongoing Giorgio Armani “Frames of Your Life” campaign take that message to the street evoking the spirit of the iconic Robert Doisneau. Street photographer Tommy Ton certainly makes a visual case for style initially flowing from sidewalkers on through to impacting runway catwalkers.
