ARTOPTIC: EG EMILIO GIANI THE YOUNG GENERATION

PACKED WITH ATTITUDE

Artoptic International expands its EG Emilio Giani Eyewear line of men’s and women’s styles with a new collection that targets the next generation—teens 14 to 19. Included are five styles in variations on rectangles and ovals. All of the frames feature metal fronts and zyl temples accented with flowers, stripes, dots and the EG logo. Colors range from rose/pink, blue, green, berry and purple to black and brown. Eye sizes are 47mm and 49mm with a 16mm bridge and 132mm temple lengths.

PHILOSOPHY: “Designed for the underserved youth market, this new collection continues the EG objective of offering designer flair at affordable prices,” says Artoptic president George Gero.

MARKETING: Each frame comes with a case—a soft, zippered purse style covered in fun graphics for girls and a hard case for boys.
