Hoya Launches ‘Go For the Green’ Promo

Hoya Vision Care, North America has launched Hoya Go For the Green, a national promotion that offers eyecare professionals the chance to win three new Lexus GS 450h hybrids and over $200,000 in cash and prizes. The promotion rules are straightforward: Sell more Hoya and win something green.

Until October 31, participating ECPs can earn game stickers for each qualifying product they sell. By simply submitting the completed official game cards monthly, ECPs can win prizes and merchandise and be entered into monthly cash drawings for a grand total of $200,000. Plus, three lucky winners will walk away with the keys to a brand new Lexus GS 450h Hybrid with a two-year lease. Qualifying products include Hoyalux iD, Hoyalux iD LifeStyle, Hoyalux iD LifeStyle cd, Hoyalux Summit ecp, Hoyalux Summit cd and Hoyalux GP Wide. Additional qualifying add-ons include Hoya Super HiVision, Hoya HiVision Transitions lenses and NuPolar polarized lenses.

Global Optics Launches Jumpstart 3

Global Optics, in cooperation with Innereactive Media, recently released disc three of the Jumpstart training series. “Jumpstart 3: Identifying Visual Needs” provides ECPs with in-depth information on how to increase practice sales by successfully presenting supplemental eyewear. Training includes information on how supplemental eyewear sales help to better satisfy patient vision requirements.

“Jumpstart 3” is not specific to one lens manufacturer. It demonstrates how to create an office environment that supports supplemental eyewear sales and help avoid patient “sticker shock.” “Jumpstart 3” contains training videos, animated examples, illustrations, music and narration. The disc also includes interactive quizzes after each section of training. Upon the completion of the exam, it provides a detailed print-out of the participant’s results. “Jumpstart 3: Identifying Visual Needs” is pending four continuing education credits from the American Board of Opticianry.
