Sàfilo USA unveils new Liz Claiborne and Claiborne fashion offerings as part of each brand’s Spring ’09 relaunch strategy under the creative direction of Isaac Mizrahi and John Bartlett, respectively. Isaac Mizrahi’s first eyewear designs for Liz Claiborne consist of two women’s metal/plastic combinations with flex hinges and four feminine sunglasses (butterfly, round, cat-eye and rectangular designs), all with a clover icon cutout inside a square on each temple adorned with 16 princess-cut stones. John Bartlett’s initial designs for Claiborne include two men’s metal/plastic rectangular ophthalmics, featuring classic American styling. Each frame is equipped with flex hinges.
