PARTY LINE

Vogue Eyewear from Luxottica and The Council of Fashion Designers of America hosted an exclusive gathering to celebrate the preview of Charlotte Ronson's capsule collection as she joined the ranks of past Luxottica and CFDA Design Series collaborators including Nanette Lepore and Rebecca Minkoff. Vogue Eyewear's global brand ambassador, the stunning Eva Mendes, acted as muse for the fashion designer's venture into eyewear and sunwear. Presented atop the Gramercy Terrace at the Gramercy Park Hotel in NYC, we got a first look at the feminine line sprinkled with scalloping, floral and pastel details. A ceiling crafted of glass bulbs, touches from Ronson's proprietary prints and models styled in pieces from the designer's clothing collection filled the event space. Guests toasted to the new collection before being treated to a delicate tasting menu crafted from Ronson and Mendes' personal favorites. 20/20 snagged the chance to speak with Ms. Mendes, getting a feel for the team's first collaboration and her admiration of Ronson's sweet-chic lineup. Each piece has a soft charm that keeps its maturity, inspired by Mendes' own personal style. Charlotte Ronson's delightful design eye proves perfect fit for the ultimate accessory... eyewear.

Hall of Frames

Daniel Radcliffe throws on Robert Marc Eyewear RM 677-215 square-shaped shades while promoting "Kill Your Darlings," his newest film in which he stars as bespectacled Beat Generation poet Allen Ginsberg. The handcrafted crystal front with broadly striated tortoise-tone temples hints just enough at the retro tempo, with an unconcerned ease that doesn't devote too much time to primping and prepping. Paired with a plaid print button-down and guy-style satchel, dark horse dramatist Daniel Radcliffe's eye style earns the honor of Reporter's Notebook-highlighted Hall of Frames favorite.
