HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--ClearVision Optical has introduced a new line of eyewear for kids aged 6 to 11 named Koodles Eyewear. The six-piece collection is for children who want to wear frames that provide “fresh and fun styling for everyday kids.”

“Koodles is all about giving the everyday kid simple, fresh styling, backed by quality - all at a great price,” said Pam Elfreich, ClearVision’s Koodles brand manager. “Our young customer wants a cool look that will last, without the expense of a designer label.”

Offering two unisex, two boys and two girls designs, each frame in the collection is available in two colors and two sizes. For each Koodles style, one size accommodates an older child, while the other is made to fit a younger child.

Koodles’ construction includes both stainless steel and combination metal/plastic designs in a range of butterfly designs, geometric looks, and pillowed styles. Color options include violet, pink, blue, brown, black and gunmetal, while the style names aim to capture the fun, young spirit of the Koodles brand with examples like Kewl, Kajillion and K Rad.

“With the increasing number of states requiring comprehensive eye exams for children before they enter school, the Koodles Eyewear collection for kids answers an economical need in today’s marketplace,” added David Friedfeld, president of ClearVision Optical. “We put much thought into pricing Koodles because our goal is to keep the consumer cost around $100.”
