ST. PAUL, Minn.--The Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) has launched its redesigned Web site, www.jcahpo.org. New graphic designs, increased navigation convenience, and additional online services are innovative features are features of the new site.

The site provides services to JCAHPO’s core audience of ophthalmic personnel, employers, and accredited ophthalmic educational institutions. Visitors receive user-friendly access to information on continuing education (CE), certification, upcoming news and events, course and program overviews, and other services for ophthalmic personnel. More than 17,000 ophthalmic assistants, technicians and technologists across the globe are JCAHPO-certified.

To meet the growing demands of personnel seeking and maintaining careers in ophthalmology, as well as increasing accessibility, JCAHPO is increasing its technological innovation. Through the Online Service Center, JCAHPO Bookstore, and the Online Store, certificants can manage accounts, change personal information, purchase educational products, and register for courses. Users can also access Education and Research Foundation links for available listings of grants, scholarships, and additional continuing education assistance opportunities.
