Jimmy Choo was born to a family of shoemakers in the Penang state of Malaysia. He opened his first shoe workshop in Hackney, East London, in 1986 where he soon attracted the attention of Vogue UK and became a favorite of Princess Diana. He now designs womenswear, handbags and accessories in addition to his famous shoes
