NEW YORK—International Vision Expo East exhibits open here today featuring more than 525 leading companies and several special pavilions sure to give Expo attendees a one-stop shopping and educational experience. The continuing education portion of Expo kicked off yesterday and will include more than 250 hours of courses through April 13.

If pre-registration numbers are an indication, business promises to be brisk throughout the show, according to show organizers. “With strong pre-registration figures up 11 percent above last year, a sold-out exhibit floor, and exciting new features—we are confident that this will be the most successful event to date for all of our visitors,” said Tom Loughran, event director.

International Vision Expo will unveil its new logo for the first time here in New York. An updated logo is the cornerstone of makeover, providing a streamlined and contemporary feel for the show. With the theme, “Uniqely Defined” the new look was designed to reflect the ever changing conference and show experience, according to show organizers.
