NEW YORK--The all-new Medical and Scientific Pavilion allows visioncare suppliers whose medical and technological breakthroughs are on the forefront of visioncare to come together in one location. The pavilion complements a new conference program, which features free CE, new topics, new speakers and new Eyemax Theatre sessions.

The Medical and Scientific Pavilion features exhibitors in contact lens, pharmaceutical, and low vision and will be located directly above the continuing education meeting rooms in the E Hall of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, providing easy access following conference sessions.  The Pavilion occupies Booths 1000 -- 1400 on the exhibition floor with its own entrance to the left of the Crystal Palace.

Complementing the exhibit floor activity, a series of free CE sessions offered by participating suppliers is scheduled during this three-day event.  The sessions will be held in the Medical and Scientific Theatre Behind Booth 1100.

Within the Medical and Scientific Pavilion, a new Low Vision Pavilion, featuring 13 low vision companies, will offer eyecare professionals the opportunity to discuss and demonstrate the importance of incorporating low vision into their practice. Complementing the show floor activity, the Vision Council of America will introduce a new workshop, Magnify Your Future. This exclusive program is available only at International Vision Expo and takes place on Saturday, March 12 from 8:30 a.m.-- 4:00 p.m.  This six-hour program includes interactive panels, discussions, small group workshops and hands-on participation in exercises with low vision devices.  It is designed for ophthalmologists, optometrists,
