We are a growing ophthalmology practice with two Newport Beach locations currently seeking a front office receptionist.

We are looking for a team player with excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi task.  Candidate must be professional and have a positive attitude, work efficiently and independently and have excellent organizational skills.  Applicants should be able to prioritize tasks in a systematic manner and complete assignments in a timely fashion.

Duties include the following:

1.  Patient registration, insurance verification and collection of co-payments

2.  Scheduling and confirming appointments

3.  Sending correspondence to referring physicians and patients

4.  Scheduling surgery

5.  Entering data into an electronic medical record

6.  Answering phones

Sufficient computer and keyboard skills to make appointments, emailing, and other related tasks are a must

Medical billing experience is preferred but not required. 

Bilingual candidates encouraged

Minimum one year experience
