NEW YORK--Robert Marc opened his new headquarters and showroom here last month. The multi-use space is located in the hottest area in the city, with neighbors that include Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen. The loft space encompasses a public showroom that accommodates visiting sales associates, executive offices and meeting areas, administrative offices, and warehouse functions. Marc drew inspiration from the eye itself in the design. The concept of the lens was used to reflect and refract light from the outer periphery of the space to the interior administrative offices. Exposed hardware throughout references eyewear hinges and pin attachments.
