According to consumers, over half (53 percent) of frame units sold 12ME March '05 are made of metal.  Twenty-six percent of frames sold are comprised of part plastic and part metal and 11 percent are made of only plastic.

The most common frequency for contact lens replacement recommended by eyecare doctors is every two weeks, recommended by doctors 32 percent of the time. However, only 50 percent of patients actually comply with that recommendation.
