NEW YORK--When asked in the July VM
website Live Poll “What are you doing to boost back-to-school
sales this summer?” nearly a third of the respondents (28
percent) indicated they were “running ads/in-store
promotions.”
Another 15 percent cited “boosting inventory of
children’s frames,” while an additional 15 percent
indicated they were “sending customers special
messages.”
Twenty-eight percent of the poll’s respondents said they were
doing “nothing special” to boost business, while 13%
said they were “creating themed window displays.”
The new VM Live Poll is up and running, and asks readers,
“What are you doing to prepare for the upcoming Vision Expo
West?” The poll is located at the bottom of the Vision Monday
homepage at www.visionmonday.com.
