NEW YORK--Selima Optique and Jack Spade have launched a new sunglass collection for Summer 2005. The collection blends the aesthetic of the two brands to offer styles with modern and timeless elements. The new line is available at Selima Optique and Jack Spade stores, along with select retail partners.

The collection hinges on an attention to detail that appeals to the mass market in a way that mere mass marketing cannot, according to the designer. Many styles draw inspiration from the 70s such as the Matt, which is an American take on Aristotle Onassis, and the June, which was inspired by the 1971 movie “Two Lane Blacktop.”

For 10 years Selima Optique has offered modern eyewear and has also operated retail locations featuring a variety of forward designers.
