CINCINNATI--Refractive surgery firm LCA-Vision (Nasdaq: LCAV) saw its total revenues climb 51 percent in 2005, to $192.4 million.

The company’s net income for the year was $31.7 million versus $32 million in fiscal 2004, when its income level was increased by a change valuation of deferred tax assets. Excluding that change, LCA-Vision said its full-year 2005 net income increased 103 percent, from $15.6 million in 2004.

Craig Joffe, LCA-Vision’s COO, who became interim CEO on March 1, said the company added 10 new centers in 2005, for a total of 50.
