Contacts Lenses Market Trends

Contact lens sales continue to grow. Over the last year the total dollar sales of contact lenses sold to U.S. adults age 18+ has increased 5.6% from $2.049 Billion in the 12 months ending September 2004 to $2.164 Billion in the 12 months ending September 2005. Contact lens sales increased 10.2 percent in the same period from 553.2 Million to 609.6 Million contact lenses.
