MILAN--The new Ferrari eyewear collection from Marcolin got off to a roaring start at the Ferrari store here earlier this month. Jean Todt, the managing director of Ferrari and Maurizio Marcolin, CEO of style and licensing for Marcolin Group hosted the event. The new collection features a range of 18 models focusing on luxury and sport-elite themes.

Paying homage to Ferrari's history and iconic imagery, the Prancing Horse emblem is incorporated onto frames which will be distributed selectively. "The collection will be available starting in May in exclusive opticians and Ferrari Stores worldwide. The aim is for 2000 doors in the first year, of which 600 will be in Italy," said Marcolin.
