Practice Management Specialist/ Eyefinity Essential Functions:
Research, understand and communicate key challenges facing independent practices. Gain insight via competitive intelligence to determine existing best practices used by leading-edge eye care providers. Design, develop, propose and deploy business strategies and solutions to advance the business operations of independent eye care practices, and be accountable for results of such programs. Act as an external industry resource demonstrating the ability to passionately advocate for the advantages of the programs. Provide business management consultation using superior content knowledge and persuasive skills which demonstrate the advantages of the programs. This includes having a thorough understanding with the ability to effectively train practice Associates and Doctors and the ability to analyze financial data, compare to Standards of Performance criteria and develop action plans. Develops professional business relationships with Doctors.
Description: Effectively transfers knowledge regarding lessons learned and what's worked/what has not worked in managing a practice. Effectively communicate the excitement of the new strategy to rally internal resources to support the creation of something innovative and dynamic. Integrate VSP campus-company programs, solutions and offerings where appropriate as required by the overall corporate strategy. Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare or equivalent experience Three or more years working directly in an independent eye care practice or for an optical retailer as a business manager or business consultant Three or more years business analysis/financial management experience Strong knowledge of the optical industry, including products and services available Proven track record of sales growth through sales skills and accountability for sales results Ability to facilitate, train (through practice and role-play), coach, and develop excellent, results-oriented, customer-oriented, retail/sales-oriented associates/teams Proven experience and results with a retail or customer service establishment Ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to issues/opportunities to grow the business Success in store merchandising and attention to detail Ability to manage priorities through adaptability, willingness to take calculated risks, and follow-up.
