Salary: COA: Minimum hourly $13.77; Midpoint hourly $17.70. COT: Minimum hourly $18.07; Midpoint hourly $23.43.
CERTIFIED OPHTHALMIC ASSISTANT:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist the Ophthalmologist with patient care by performing ocular examination.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a High School diploma or general education degree. Minimum of one year experience with an ophthalmologist (requirement for certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant)JCAHPO certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant is mandatory.
CERTIFIED OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs ophthalmic examinations on patients. Maintains patient information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma. Two years related experience. Certified Ophthalmic Technician certification.
