The foundation recently created its logo (left), which will help to identify Frames For The World as an entity that encourages eyewear manufacturers and optical retailers to donate new frames to pre-qualified, eligible clinics and hospitals for distribution to underprivileged communities.

Frames For The World expects "to give each recipient 1,000 frames or more, depending on donations," according to National Vision president and chief executive officer Reade Fahs.
