DALLAS—Members of the Optical Women's Association (OWA) have until Aug. 27 to vote on a new slate of officers and directors to lead the organization for the next two years. E-mail ballots were sent out to members this week.

Nominated as officers of the 2010-2011 OWA board of directors are Laurie Badone of Carl Zeiss Vision, president; Eve Zartman-Ball of The Vision Council, president-elect; Amy Spiezio of Eyecare Business, secretary/treasurer; and Grady Culbreth, immediate past president.

Nominated as OWA directors are Ann Englert of Solutions; Corinne McCormack of FGX International; Debbie Lochli McGrath of Marchon; Gale Meyer of Diversified Opthalmics; Audrey Pavia of Tura; Sherrie Rogerson of Doctors Vision Center; Jean Sabre of Uptown Vision; and Karen Zappia of Live Eyewear.

All board terms are for two years. Announcement of the 2010-2011 board of directors will take place at the OWA networking reception during International Vision Expo West in Las Vegas. The reception is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Venetian/Palazzo Congress Center, level 1, Marco Polo ballrooms 802/803.
