West Middlesex, Penn.—Eyes of Faith Optical is embarking on major outreach and marketing programs to the Christian market through a new partnership with faith-based communications leader, Renaissance Communications

Eye of Faith Optical describes itself as a "purpose-driven eyewear company." Under the agreement, Renaissance will help Eyes of Faith reach the Christian market via celebrity endorsements, advertising placement and strategic partnerships with Christian brands. The company offers clients strategic planning, program introduction, media placement and project design through its network of relationships within Christian media and related industries.

One of the first initiatives is a major 30-second radio spot placement for Eyes of Faith, which will run on the Don Moen Show starting on May 22. "Don Moen & Friends," the new syndicated three-hour Sunday morning drive time radio show hosted by Platinum-selling recording artist, songwriter and worship leader Don Moen, is broadcast in over 150 USA markets, plus internationally in over 20 nations. The commercial will also start to air on radio stations starting the week of May 24.

Jim Schneider, founder of Eyes of Faith told VMail, "Thousands will hear the Eyes of Faith radio spots in over 300 markets across the country and internationally." He added, "Eyes of Faith Optical and Renaissance Communications share a focus and a vision. We are thrilled to be working with Renaissance to tell our story to potential partners with similar visions." Through the Eyes of Faith Foundation, the eyewear brand donates 10 percent of gross sales each year to organizations help children in need. Eyes of Faith is the first faith-based ophthalmic line to be distributed exclusively through eyecare professionals.

"Renaissance is truly pleased to begin this unique client relationship with Eyes of Faith Optical, as it fits perfectly into our model of partnering with ministries and companies with redemptive missions," commented Renaissance Communications president Joe Battaglia. "We applaud Jim and Amy Schneider for creating a quality product and we look forward to our role of bringing Eyes of Faith to the attention of Christian radio audiences and finding partners among organizations and individuals with similar visions for impacting culture."

Eyes of Faith Optical  launched at Disney's Night of Joy and has continued to build its brand in the Christian community. The popular band MercyMe is wearing the brand's sunglasses. The company is doing private label sunglasses for Family Force Five for their summer concert tour. For 2011, an Eyes of Faith sunglass collection for the ECP market is in development, Schneider said.
