SOMERVILLE, N.J.—Harley-Davidson Eyewear from Viva International Group has released eight new prescription ready sunglass styles targeted toward men and women 25 and older.

“Harley-Davidson is a highly coveted brand that’s perfect for the motorcycle aficionado, as well as the active wearer,” said Elizabeth Tontodonati, Viva’s general manager of brands. “These styles enable the optician to pay attention to the corrective needs of the consumer, without limitations of a frame’s construction.”

The new styles are designed for the active individual who enjoys contemporary styling in prescription friendly designs and reflect the “high-performance quality that Harley-Davidson enthusiasts have come to respect,” according to Viva.

The men’s collection will offer five plastic models, one metal and one metal front/plastic temple combination in classic rectangular shapes, as well as a wayfarer-inspired shape. The women’s collection will add one new plastic model in a modified cat-eye shape. Each model in both collections will be available in black, brown, tortoise and gunmetal.

The new Harley Davidson Rx Sun collection from Viva will be offered to the dispenser between $47.95 and $53.95.
