Menizzi was founded in 2005 on the premises of providing fashion eyewear to serve the needs of children, tweens and the petite market. The company has now added a division, Biggu, the Japanese word for big, to cater to the consumer with a large PD. Included in the initial collection are 12 styles, each in three colors. Eye sizes in the new collection range from 55mm to 60mm with PDs of 67mm to 72mm. Frames are made of anti-corrosive materials—TR-90, stainless steel and titanium. The emphasis, as in the original collection, is on trendy colorations and such decorative accents as split temples, mesh work and stone detailing.
