FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif.—Oakley has released its spring 2009 lifestyle eyewear line, featuring six original styles for men and three new active lifestyle frames for women.

Inspired by music, art and fashion, Oakley’s new men’s collection blends clean lines attitude and street sophistication. The assertive angles of the new Antix frame are digitally rendered from lightweight O Matter material paired with a single shield style lens. Angled, inlaid icons highlight the Sideways sunglass, a handmade acetate with sculpturally integrated hinges. The new Jupiter frame is accented with metal bands and engineered with dual-cam hinges. The new Fives Squared fits small to medium-sized faces by utilizing Oakley’s proprietary Condensed Cranial Geometry.

Oakley’s expanding line of women’s eyewear frames now includes Dangerous sunglass in handmade acetate with metal icons that serve as hinge links. The Liv is made with of lightweight C-5 alloy with single lens, while the Embrace sunglass features inlaid panels of marbled color.

All new releases utilize Oakley’s patented High Definition Optics and are priced to the dispenser between $35 and $132.50.
