Material matters. In sport eyewear, selecting the right frame-component material is a win-win situation. Soft, non-allergenic, grippable rubber with a high degree of elasticity is an essential element used for temple tips and nosepads in sport glasses, enhancing fit and comfort and resulting in peak performance. Interestingly, this type of material is crossing over into fashion sunglasses and even ophthalmic frames because—simply put—it works—not only adding functionality, but also appealing to those who think of themselves as having an active lifestyle.
