Behind The Seens of Sport Eyewear

The 2013 sport cross-section is ready for action on the streets of NYC.

Our model's long locks get the curl treatment behind the scenes in our makeshift styling center at Jobson corporate headquarters.

Just outside the photographer, Art Director and model trek to the first sport spot for shot number one.

Wiley X marks the spot for sport sun essentials.

Considering our Zeal fervor was reaching a fever pitch this month, this iced-down frame made for my favorite, and our model was game to add in the sultry heat to streets of SoHo.

Rudy Project is on fire with neons and an orange-mirrored lens with plenty of wrap shape to take on any team.

He's seeing red.

Not our usual shoot tunes... we've got a quartet of jackhammers to serenade this composition.

It's difficult to detect in the photo of these Kaenon shades but the very bottom of both frame fronts looks dipped in a translucent aqua hue—another example of sport taking the lead in design.

Our model and managing editor capped off the day with a lovely spin under the photographer's light umbrella.
