With models culled from fashion outpost IMG, racks of Calvin Klein clothes, and an art and edit team dancing barefoot in a cavernous studio in Manhattan’s Union Square—no one would suspect the September 15 fashion shoot took months of planning to bring together Marchon Eyewear’s arsenal of Calvin Klein brands: Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein and the hot newbie of the gang, Calvin Klein Jeans. From the first meeting with Editor-in-Chief James J. Spina where he sketched out his vision for the cover, down to a last minute clothing pull from Marchon’s product gal Cheryl Rosario, this shoot set itself apart from the typical 20/20 photo feature.
