Cachet: Lanvin Alber Elbaz Sunwear
CLASSIC MODERNITY

In partnership with Cachet/A Division of L’Amy America, Lanvin introduces its Spring 2007 women’s sunglass collection designed by Alber Elbaz, Lanvin creative director. The collection is targeted to women who appreciate the sophisticated and timeless elegance of Lanvin’s designs and view their eyewear as a discreet, elegant accessory that authenticates their own distinctive personality. Included are four styles distinguished by their oversized rounded and aviator shapes and characterized with large screw heads visible on the frame fronts. The frames are made of plastic and metal/plastic combinations, including a style with a striking stainless-steel overlay on the top part of the frame front. The sunglasses come in black, gray and dark and light tortoise. One style—Way Shiner—is available with or without crystals.

PHILOSOPHY: “Lanvin eyewear is simple with clean elegant lines and interesting shapes,” says Cheryl Canning, Cachet marketing manager. “There is a subtle mix of classicism and modernity exhibited in these four sunglasses.”
MARKETING: Merchandising materials include single-frame and six-place window displays. The sunglasses come in a gift box with a soft drawstring pouch, cleaning cloth and warranty card.
PRICE POINT: $$$$ to $$$$$. For additional information, contact Cachet/A Division of L’Amy America, (800) 872-7377.
