The eyes indeed had it during New York Fashion Week. The Fall 2008 collections included lots of sunwear on the runway. We’re glad to see the designers have gotten the message that the sun knows no season. Here’s a quick look at some specs we spied on the catwalk.

Carolina Herrera was on the hunt with her new collection and included elegant sunwear from Base Curve, the luxury division of Rem Eyewear. One of the styles featured was the H7320 (top right). Badgley Mischka was in full glam mode pairing their chic line with shades from Badgley Mischka Couture Eyewear from Sama. The sun styles echoed the feel of old Hollywood as both the Garbo (top left) and the Marilyn (bottom left) were featured. Betsey Johnson, as always kept things fun and fabulous. She featured a host of colorful sunglasses from B Robinson Optical.
